Surveillance video shows a car running over an ambulance in Brooklyn on Sunday, leaving nine injured, one in critical condition, officials said.
The ambulance was carrying a 95-year-old woman with heart problems and her son, among others, WPIX reported.

The accident happened around 3 pm on Avenue N and Schenectady Avenue in Flatlands, police said.
In the footage, the sedan appears to hit the ambulance from the right. Photos of the aftermath of the accident show the emergency vehicle turned on its side and the Nissan Maxima lying in the distance with the entire front engine crushed.

Nine people were injured in the accident, one seriously, officials said. Seven people were rushed to hospitals in the area.
