The new Xbox Game Pass games include an unexpected bonus. The Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate were added a ton of games recently for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC subscribers, and it appears that some updates and improvements were made to some of these games before they were added, providing subscribers an unexpected bonus in the process.
For example, the Game Pass PC version of The evil within, which has been added alongside all other new Bethesda games, is not only different from the Steam version, but it also works better, or at least that’s why players have noticed, including the speedrunner Jigzaw_Killer. Performance improvements don’t stop. This version of the game also apparently includes new options and features, such as a first-person mode, new stealth icons and a FOV slider.
Meanwhile, the PC version of the Game Pass NieR Automata it seems to have received a similar bump. According to several reports, there are fewer frame crashes and fewer crashes than the Steam version. Meanwhile, the game also runs at the proper resolution thanks to the borderless window mode.
