The Mexico will start vaccinating teachers and other school staff in Campeche, one of the country’s 32 states this weekend, with the aim of resuming face-to-face classes there at the end of next month, said President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Friday Friday, January 22, 2021.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Teachers will be given priority to receive the first shipment of about 48,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine arriving in Wisconsin next week, a boost in supply that will not be matched again for several weeks.
State Deputy Secretary of Health Julie Willems Van Dyke said on Tuesday that about 30% of Wisconsin’s public school districts will finish vaccinating teachers by March 15.
In addition, nearly 4,000 doses of vaccine are being sent to the Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market locations in Wisconsin this week, as Kroger stores are added to a federal program targeting underserved areas.
Previously, only Walgreens stores in Wisconsin were on the program.
