Black Ops Cold War is one of the most popular games of 2020. Now, with Christmas just a few days away, more new users than ever before will be getting their hands on the latest shooter from Treyarch.
Fortunately, there is even more free content coming to existing players this holiday season. And it is bringing some highly requested features to Black Ops Cold War.
Daily Cold War Challenges Black Ops
Finally, Treyarch is giving players a reason to enter the Cold War every day. Call of Duty fans can now complete multiple Daily Challenges to earn XP in-game bonuses.
This is just another way for users to qualify quickly in Black Ops Cold War. These new Daily Challenges will be available in Multiplayer and Zombies modes, so that players have something new to aim for each day.
This popular fan request is in the Cold War Black Ops now, but there is more to wait for tomorrow.
New playlists in Black Ops Cold War
From December 23 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET, Black Ops Cold War players can access playlists that are completely new to the game.
These new Cold War playlists include Raid 24/7, presumably replacing Raid The Mall. This new addition will be nothing but Raid, one of the most iconic maps in the Black Ops series.
Furthermore, Treyarch confirms that this new addition will not replace the existing 24/7 Nuketown Holiday playlist that is currently active.
There’s also a new Face Off mode coming to the Cold War, with 3v3 Multiplayer action. Join 2 friends to face TDM, Domination and Kill Confirmed modes on the new season 1 Gunfight maps.
Double Battle Pass XP in the Cold War Black Ops
In addition, those wishing to complete the Cold War Season 1 Battle Pass quickly are in luck. From tomorrow until December 28, players can expect to double the XP Battle Pass in the Cold War Black Ops.
That’s a total of 5 double XP days for Battle Pass for all players, regardless of whether they have the premium pass or not. With that boost, even new players on Christmas Day can quickly unlock everything the Season 1 pass has to offer.
And that includes Warzone’s best weapon, thanks to its inclusion in the new Black Ops Cold War update.
In fact, new Cold War owners will quickly discover that their new weapons constitute a large part of the best weapons to use on the Rebirth Island list.
And that’s not all, as it looks like Soap MacTavish is coming to Warzone and Cold War very soon. The fan favorite Operator is finally back in action, but that can be disappointing for Modern Warfare fans.
After all, Soap was part of a major leak from Modern Warfare’s 7th season that recently crashed. Now, perhaps Infinity Ward is saving the extra content for Modern Warfare 2 next year.
It is no wonder that Modern Warfare players are angry at the forced inclusion of the Cold War.
