New screenshots of ‘Halo Infinite’ reveal a more detailed world

The first shoot of Halo Infinite the gameplay didn’t go well for players, to say the least, but there are signs of progress. 343 Industries and Microsoft have shared a new batch of screenshots that give you a sense of how the look of the Xbox Series X / S title has evolved in recent months. Although there are no character studies (“Craig” has been found anywhere), the Zeta Halo environment inspired by the Pacific Northwest seems a little more courageous, realistic and … well, more cutting edge.

Infinite is characterized as a “spiritual reset”, whose art and mechanics aim to recreate the feeling of playing early areola games, even while (hopefully) pushing the series forward. This includes redesigning enemies like Jackals and Grunts to look more like their early versions, said art leader Justin Dinges. With that said, there are clearly touches that benefit from modern hardware, such as an ambient lighting system that can change the climate based on the time of day.

The delayed and problematic title is now scheduled to be released sometime in the fall. It is not clear how much the new areolaThe graphics in the series will have improved by then, but it is clear 343 and Microsoft wants the next generation debut in the series to have the right visual notes.
