The guy who is third on the command line to be the commander-in-chief of this country is also well equipped to hit the bat sign every now and then … because he has an amazing resume.
Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont – who was recently elected the new president pro tempore of the Senate, replacing Chuck Grassley – made cameos in FIVE Batman films over the years, even in roles that you may vaguely remember.

His appearances date back to 1995, when he first appeared in “Batman Forever”, and successes continued to come from there … he starred in 1997 “Batman & Robin”, 2008 “The Dark Knight”, 2012 “The Dark” Knight Rises “and” Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice “2016.
Sen. Leahy also made some voices in the Batman animated series in the 90s, so the guy definitely has his place reserved at the Gotham HOF. He used to interpret politicians in his interpretations, which makes sense. This is your daily work.
As for how he got into it … apparently, his son (an actor) told some Hollywood bigwigs at the time that his father was a HUGE Batman fan, so they caught him with a cameo … and the rest is story. All of his earnings from the films were donated to charities.
As we said before, Leahy is now the third person who would enter as POTUS if the push came … behind, of course, VP Kamala Harris and mayor Nancy Pelosi. He’s used to the pressure, he had this show from 2012 to 2015.
