New Pokémon Snap gets a beautiful trailer

Nintendo announced New Pokémon Snap in June 2020 and released footage of the game as recently as last month. But during Friday Live stream of Pokémon Presents, we had a broader view of the game.

The game includes 200 Pokémon from eight generations of games. It’s been a long time for fans of the series – the first Pokémon Snap hit stores in 1999 and fans have been clamoring for a sequel for almost 22 long years.

New Pokémon Snap hits stores on April 30 for Nintendo Switch.

Along with the trailer came the revelations of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, remakes of the 2007 Nintendo DS games, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The live broadcast took place the day before the 25th anniversary of the original release of Pokémon Red and Green in Japan, which is being marked with a virtual show Post Malone.
