EXCLUSIVE: NCIS: New Orleans, the youngest series on the formidable CBS NCIS franchise, is coming to an end. The current seventh season will be the last of the drama, with the series scheduled to end on May 16. It will be the 155th episode of the series.
THE NCIS Scott Bakula, starring and executive producing, joins another long CBS series that is ending this season; the news came out this afternoon that comedy Mommy will end with its current eighth season.
Created by the late Gary Glasberg, NCIS: New Orleans it revolves around the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving the military in Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence.
“It is sad to end our love affair with this phenomenal city, but very grateful for all the friends we made along the way,” said Bakula. “I will miss the music. Many thanks to CBS for seven years. “
