New Nintendo Rumor Sheds Light on “Super Nintendo Switch”

A new rumor has shed light on the Super Nintendo Switch or, as it is sometimes called, the Nintendo Switch Pro. Although there have been rumors and leaks pointing to the existence of a new and more powerful Nintendo Switch for over a year now, these rumors and leaks did not materialize in anything concrete or official. Unfortunately, that hasn’t changed, but a new rumor has come up with a lot of details about the supposed hardware.

The latest rumor came from a couple of “verified insiders” at Reset Era who claim that the new Nintendo Switch is basically a PS4 with DLSS and a better CPU. In other words, it won’t take Nintendo games to the PS5 and Xbox Series X levels, but it will be somewhere between this new generation of games and the latest generation of games.

If this looks like a big, beautiful update, it is because it is, and it is partly because this new model is more than just a Nintendo Switch Lite level review and is more like what the Wii U was for the Wii, or at least less the claim. And as you might expect, this will be reinforced with a new trick, although the rumor does not say what exactly.

In addition, not much interest or consequence is disclosed about the system, besides that it aims at a resolution of 4K, although this is probably only for when it is docked. The leaks also mention a 2022 launch window and that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 can release along with it.

Of course, and as always, take all of that information with a grain of salt. Not only is nothing official here, but even if it is 100% accurate, it is also subject to change.

As expected, Nintendo has not commented on this, and will not. He hasn’t commented on a single specific rumor about Nintendo Switch Pro or Super Nintendo Switch, and that won’t change, but if it does, we’ll be sure to update the story with everything it provides.
