New Animal Crossing New HorizonsNintendo Switch themed controllers were announced by controller manufacturer Power A. More specifically, Power A unveiled a pair of new wired controllers and Switch Lite inspired by Cross between animals characters Tom Nook and Isabelle. As you would expect, the latter has a yellow design, while the former has a teal design. Despite presenting different designs, the pair of controllers is exactly the same in terms of hardware and both cost just $ 24.99. Pre-orders for the Tom Nook version are available on Amazon here. The Isabelle version is available for pre-order here.
As for the controllers themselves, in addition to being officially licensed, both come with a 3.5 mm audio connector, mappable buttons and a “standard ergonomic layout”. Meanwhile, in addition, a removable 3-meter USB cable with a velcro strap is also included for what Power A says makes storage easy and less cluttered.
Unfortunately, if you prefer wireless controllers, there is no wireless variant. What does exist, however, is a 2-year warranty from the hardware manufacturer.
