New Mortal Kombat movie revealed

Warner Bros. Pictures today released a new promotional trailer about his somewhat controversial decision to bring all 2021 films to theaters and HBO Max while including a lot of new footage from a variety of films, and that includes the next ones. Mortal combat restart the movie. Although it also features the same short clip we saw earlier, new snippets included in this latest trailer appear to feature Sonya Blade, Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

Although by no means a complete trailer as it was recently announced for February, it is a good look at some snippets of action and special effects. The brief look at Scorpion also seems to show it fighting those who could be members of the Lin Kuei clan, the faction to which Sub-Zero historically also belongs. It also features Sonya Blade saying the words “Mortal Kombat”, which is always lovely.

Here is the official synopsis of the next Mortal combat film, which was recently revealed:

“MMA fighter Cole Young, accustomed to taking a beating for money, doesn’t know about his heritage – or why Emperor Shang Tsung of Outworld sent his best warrior, Sub-Zero, a cryomancer from another world, to hunt Cole. Fearing for the safety of his family, Cole goes in search of Sonya Blade in the direction of Jax, a Special Forces Major who carries the same strange dragon that Cole was born in. Soon, he finds himself in the temple of Lord Raiden, an Elder God and protector of Earthrealm, which grants sanctuary to those who carry the mark. Here, Cole trains with experienced warriors Liu Kang, Kung Lao and mercenary Kano, as he prepares to face the greatest champions on Earth against the enemies of Outworld in a high-risk battle for the universe. But will Cole be pressed hard enough to unlock his arcana – the immense power within his soul – in time to save not only his family, but to stop Outworld once and for all? “
