  • A woman in her 80s from Eddy County. The individual was a resident of the Good Life Senior Living establishment in Carlsbad.
  • A man in his 80s in Lea County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 80s in Los Alamos County. The individual was a resident of the Sombrillo nursing home in Los Alamos.
  • A woman in her 80s in Luna County. The individual had underlying diseases and was a resident of the Mimbres Memorial Health House in Deming.
  • A woman in her 90s in Luna County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her fifties in Sandoval County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A 60-year-old man from Sandoval County.
  • A 70-year-old man from San Juan County. The individual was hospitalized.
  • A woman in her 80s in the county of San Juan. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A woman in her 40s from Socorro County.

The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,502.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 403 additional cases of COVID-19. As of Friday, New Mexico has reported a total of 179,724 cases.

KOB 4 determined that there was a positive result of 1.6% of the tests analyzed in the state’s Friday report.

The state reports that 365 people are being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

As of Friday, there were 117,635 COVID-19 cases designated as recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
