  • A 70-year-old man from Lea County. The individual was hospitalized.
  • A man in his 50s from McKinley County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 60s from McKinley County.
  • A woman in her 50s in San Juan County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases. The individual was a resident of the Bloomfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomfield.
  • A man in his 60s in San Juan County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A man in his 80s in San Juan County. The individual was a resident of the Bloomfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomfield.
  • A second man in his 80s in the county of San Juan. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 90s in Santa Fe County. The individual was a resident of the Kingston Residence in Santa Fe.
  • A 70-year-old man from Taos County. The individual was hospitalized.

The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,599.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 318 additional cases of COVID-19. As of Friday, New Mexico has reported a total of 182,050 cases.

KOB 4 determined that there was a positive result of 2.89% of the tests analyzed in the state’s Friday report.

The state reports that 278 people are being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

As of Thursday, there were 128,299 cases of COVID-19 designated as recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
