The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,830. The New Mexico Department of Health reports that it received 14 death certificates from the state of Texas on March 8. They were issued between 1/20/2021 and 2/20/2021. The deaths are included in Tuesday’s update.
In addition to the deaths, the state reported an additional 209 cases of COVID-19. As of Tuesday, New Mexico has reported a total of 187,238 cases.

The state reports that 128 people are being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.
