New Mexico reports 15 new deaths, 275 additional cases of COVID-19

  • Woman in her 60s from the county of Chaves. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 60s in Lea County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 50s from McKinley County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A man in his 70s from McKinley County. The individual was hospitalized.
  • A woman in her 90s in Sandoval County. The individual was hospitalized and lived at The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho Assisted Living, in Rio Rancho.
  • A man in his 60s in San Juan County.
  • A woman in her 80s in the county of San Juan. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A woman in her 70s in the county of San Miguel. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A 70-year-old man from Santa Fé County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A woman in her 70s from Socorro County. The individual was hospitalized.
  • A man in his 80s from Valencia County. The individual had underlying diseases and was a resident of the Skies Health and Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque.

The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,700.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 275 additional cases of COVID-19. As of Saturday, New Mexico had reported a total of 184,888 cases.

  • 2 new cases in Lea County
  • 2 new cases in Lincoln County
  • 3 new cases in Los Alamos County
  • 1 new case in Luna County
  • 16 new cases in McKinley County
  • 12 new cases in Otero County
  • 1 new case in the municipality of Rio Arriba
  • 10 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 3 new cases in San Juan County
  • 3 new cases in San Miguel County
  • 9 new cases in Santa Fe County
  • 2 new cases in Socorro County
  • 1 new case in Taos County
  • 3 new cases in Torrance County
  • 10 new cases in the county of Valencia
  • 6 new cases among New Mexico Department of Corrections inmates at Lea County Correctional Center

The state reports that 227 people are being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

KOB 4 determined that there was 2.32% positivity in the exams analyzed in the state report on Saturday.

As of Saturday, there were 143,774 COVID-19 cases designated as having been recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
