  • Man in his 60s, born in the municipality of Chaves. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases. The person was a resident of the Casa Maria Health Center in Roswell.
  • A man in his 70s in Cibola County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A 70-year-old man from Colfax County. The individual had underlying conditions and was a resident of the Raton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Raton.
  • A woman in her 70s in Doña Ana County. The individual had underlying diseases and was a resident of the Good Samaritan Society’s facilities in Las Cruces.
  • A man in his 80s in Doña Ana County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 90s in the county of Doña Ana.
  • A man in his 60s in Lea County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A man in his 70s in Lea County.
  • A woman in her 40s from McKinley County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A woman in her 50s from McKinley County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 80s in Otero County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • Woman in her 80s in the municipality of Rio Arriba.

The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,729.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 166 additional cases of COVID-19. On Monday, New Mexico reported a total of 185,297 cases.

  • 5 new cases in Otero County
  • 3 new cases in the municipality of Rio Arriba
  • 10 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 8 new cases in San Juan County
  • 2 new cases in San Miguel County
  • 2 new cases in Santa Fe County
  • 1 new case in Sierra County
  • 1 new case in Socorro County
  • 1 new case in Taos County
  • 1 new case in Torrance County

The state reports that 186 people are being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

KOB 4 determined that there was a positive result of 2.6% of the tests analyzed in Monday’s state report.

As of Monday, there were 147,446 cases of COVID-19 designated as recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
