Publisher success announced Lobo Project, a completely new RPG entry on the Metal Max sister series Metal Saga, during the “Metal Max Live broadcast of the 30th anniversary before the anniversary: ​​A heartfelt thank you event.

The platforms and launch window were not announced, but when instigated by professional fighter Danshoku Dino, the director of 24Frame, Yuusuke Tomono, joked that “it is not exclusive to Xbox”.

An official revelation is planned for the Metal Max the “Birthday Eve” series broadcast live on May 23.

Here is the full schedule of upcoming Metal Max events of the series’ 30th anniversary:

  • March 13th – Metal Max Official website of the 30th anniversary officially opened and special wallpaper launched
  • March 17 – Metal Max Xeno and Metal Max Xeno: Reborn large spring sale (from 17 to 31 March)
  • April 1 – #MM (Metal Max Love) Art registrations for the 30th anniversary begin (from April 1 to May 7)
  • April 1 – Metal Max 30th anniversary special goods (special open pre-order area)
  • May 23 – Metal Max live broadcast of the “Birthday Eve” series featuring the official announcement of a brand new event Metal Saga title and new information about Metal Max: Wild West
  • May – Wallpapers and icons launched on Hagane’s special collaboration website
  • Beginning of summer – Metal dogs (working title) Early Access PC release via Steam
  • Late July – live broadcast of “Maniac 2” (details to be announced at a later date)
