New Mario Party apparently in development at Nintendo

Nintendo appears to be in the early stages of work on a new Mario Party games. This next installment would be the first since the 2018 launch of Super Mario Party and it looks like it will also be developed by the same studio.

This information comes from a new post on social media, where it is said that the developer NDcube is looking to recruit for a new Mario Party. NDcube is the studio that worked previously Super Mario Party among other games like Mario Party 10, Animal Crossing: Pocket Campand Clubhouse Games: 51 World Classics. The post begs those interested in working on the next game in the series to come and join the larger NDcube team.

As a whole, this information should not be considered shocking in many ways. Whereas NDcube worked on Mario Party series across multiple entrances and platforms, it is quite clear that they would once again receive the call to work on the next iteration of the series as soon as Nintendo gives the go-ahead. Furthermore, the fact that Nintendo wants even more Mario Party appearing in the future is just obvious. Super Mario Party on Nintendo Switch it sold incredibly well to the publisher, which means it was only a matter of time before a follow-up was put into development.

Since the NDcube is clearly still looking to hire staff for this next Mario Party game, it may take a while before we see the game publicly revealed. It is also important to note that the NDcube itself has previously worked on mobile titles, so it may not be a block that this future title will come to the Switch by default.

Regardless of what the future may bring, more Mario Party it seems to be something you can plan. Whenever the future title of the series is revealed, we will obviously let you know here at ComicBook.com. Until then, you can continue to follow all of our Nintendo related coverage here.
