The leaks from the Samsung Galaxy S21 are coming in droves and fast, but the latter is, if true, certainly disappointing, with the popular leaker Ishan Agarwal claiming that there will be no charger or headphones included in the next device in the UK.
Instead, according to Agarwal, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will only come with a USB-C cable. Although this new leak concerns only the United Kingdom, we have also seen hints that in other countries, such as Brazil, the Galaxy S21 will be sold without headphones and charger.
It then appears that Samsung is following in Apple’s footsteps, despite the company initially mocking the iPhone maker for not including a charger or headphones on its latest iPhone 12 devices.
More details
Agarwal also confirmed an FHD + resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 for the screen, and the MySmartPrice website also cited Agarwal as confirming the Galaxy S21’s launch date on January 14, 2021.
So, should we lose hope of getting a charger and headphones with the Galaxy S21? Maybe not. First, despite Agarwal’s reputation, these rumors have yet to be confirmed, and until Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S21, and what’s in the box, we wouldn’t be too depressed.
In addition, the tweet posted by Agarwal that stated that there would be no charger or headphones included with the Galaxy S21 in the UK was deleted (GSMArena managed to take a screenshot of it, however), which may mean that the informant obtained more information that contradicts the leak, or has lost confidence in your information.
It seems increasingly likely that Samsung will show the Galaxy S21 at an event on January 14, so hopefully we won’t have much to wait to find out what will come with the company’s latest flagship smartphone.
