Riot revealed League of Legends‘newest champion and she is a very scary doll called Gwen. In a movie released on Friday, the developer showed the tragic origins of the doll and gave us a preview of how it will look in the game.
In Gwen’s cinematic revelation, a seamstress creates a doll and, according to the video description, “This doll loved her creator very much, but unfortunately, the tragedy separated them, causing the doll to sink into the sea and suffer.” But while she waits at the bottom of the sea, a mysterious force finds her and animates her, transforming her from a doll into something else.
Riot doesn’t reveal exactly what anything else it may be, but it gives us a brief glimpse of what Gwen’s true form may be. She is taller, with more humane features, but she definitely still looks like a sewn doll, giving her an extra scary vibe.

Based on Riot’s previews of the King of the Ruins of Veigo revealed earlier this year, we already know that Gwen has been revived by the magic of the King of the Ruins and will likely be connected to Veigo. We also know that she will be a first rate AP fighter, but her real kit remains a mystery.
Like most new champions, Riot will reveal more about Gwen in the coming weeks, including his complete skill kit. After the disclosure, it will likely change to League of Legends‘Public Beta environment for testing before its final release.
