New hotel opening at Disney World now with reservations

A new Marriott hotel opened this summer at Disney World is now taking reservations, as the theme park is slowly recovering from a difficult 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Monday, the 14-story Walt Disney World Swan reservation was announced as the newest addition to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resorts in Lake Buena Vista. The new building is under construction, reports ClickOrlando, and is scheduled to open in July.

NICKELODEON IS OPENING ITS FIRST RESORT IN MEXICO THIS SUMMER

For those planning trips to Disney a little further, reservations can now be made for September 1 and beyond, a spokesman for the project told Fox News. The Swan Reserve will be adjacent to the other two existing hotels, conveniently located between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, and also close to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Park.

Offering a “sophisticated and boutique atmosphere” in the heart of Disney, the Swan Reserve will have 349 rooms, 149 suites and two presidential suites, “all luxuriously decorated and with floor-to-ceiling windows.” Guests can also take advantage of the amenities offered at their sister properties, including a spa, five pools, 18 restaurants, and preferred games at nearby Disney golf courses.

The happiest place on Earth recently announced that it would extend theme park hours to the first week of March, almost exactly a year after the coronavirus pandemic began.

Disney World was closed from mid-March until early July 2020 in the fight against COVID-19, while Disneyland in California remains closed.
