Netflix joins Mario’s doomsday celebrations and will remove Super Mario Bros. 3 Cartoon on March 31

We hate to remind you, but it’s March already, and that means Nintendo will shut down several Mario products at the end of the month. That includes Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. 35 on the switch, the original Super Mario Maker online services are closing and the new Super Mario Game & Watch the system can no longer be purchased.

If you thought all of this was a big joke, no – it really looks like Mario’s days are numbered on March 31st. To top it off, Netflix has now revealed The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 the cartoon series will be removed from its streaming service. The last date to attend will be … you guessed it, March 31, 2021.

It seems likely because The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. is now available on Paramount Plus. Netflix’s removal date on March 31 is certainly an unfortunate time.

Although this appears to have been resolved, Nintendo has yet to provide any reason to be removing games like Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. 35 from Switch eShop on the same date.

Although it’s just a guess, it looks like the video game giant prefers to continue with The legend of Zelda Celebrations of the 35th anniversary. Link’s birthday starts in July, when Skyward Sword HD lands on Switch. Nintendo is expected to make more Zelda announcements in the second half of 2021.
