Rebbi Rosie, Keiynan Lonsdale and Enrique Murciano joined Starz‘”A step forward”Series, while Terayle Hill was promoted to regular in the series, reprising his role as Marquise next season. New cast members enter Christina Milian and Ne-Yo in the series inspired by the Lionsgate “Step Up” film franchise. He revolves around Ne-Yo as Sage Odom, the legendary founder of Atlanta’s famous High Water Performing Art School, whose legacy and endeavors are threatened by a dark secret. Rosie plays Angel, a British woman who left the underworld of organized crime families in London to prove she belongs to one of the best dancers in the world; Lonsdale takes on the role of Tal, originally played by Petrice Jones, the lead dancer on Sage’s billion-dollar tour, and Murciano plays Cruz, an ambitious lawyer earning his place among celebrity lawyers by defending Sage against a murder charge.
Roma Flynn, Aubriana Davis, Tracey Bonner and Josh Ventura joined the cast of Netflixin “Raising Dion”For the second season. Flynn will play Dion (Ja’Siah Young) coach and mentor, Tevin Wakefield; Davis will be Janelle Carr, 15, with Bonner in the role of his mother Simone Carr, and Ventura is David Marsh, the new vice president of operations for BIONA, the local biotechnology company featured in the program. The production of the second season of eight episodes is underway in Atlanta, Georgia. Epix will debut docuseries “Fall River” on May 16 at the 10 pm Coming from Blumhouse Television and Pyramid Productions, is centered on the murder of three young women in 1979. The police claimed that their deaths were at the hands of a satanic sect that practiced human sacrifices. The cult leader, Carl Drew, was captured and sent to life without parole. Twenty years later, principal investigator Paul Carey was consumed by the inconsistencies in the case and reinvestigated after retirement. “Fall River” jumps to the true story of a city dominated by the Satanic panic of the 1980s and brings evidence that puts the case in question. He befriends Cecile, a retired Franco-American, and learns about the scars left by the KKK Protestant Nativist movement that targeted French immigrants.
