Nelly puts his six-bedroom Missouri mansion on the market after plans to fix it failed

Nelly hopes to sell one of his properties, which he originally planned to sell, but has been empty for almost two decades.

The 46-year-old rapper marketed his mansion in Wildwood, Missouri, with stunning views of the forests around the Meramec River, for $ 599,000, according to TMZ.

The artist’s sizeable six-bedroom, seven-bathroom property sits on nearly 12 acres of land and features an outdoor basketball court, as well as separate media and game rooms.

Composer Ride Wit Me originally planned to remodel the residence with a contracting friend when he bought the mansion 19 years ago.

However, the planned changes were never made as planned and the house remained in a state of disrepair for many years.

The publication also reported that Nelly simply wants to cut his losses and leave the investment.

The property is close to a sparsely populated piece of land about 50 kilometers from St. Louis and just minutes from the Hidden Valley Ski Resort in the nearby town of Eureka.

The house has a palatial entrance perfect for glamorous photo shoots; the rapper is not known to have done this during his time as the property owner.

A sizeable garage was seen attached to the rapper’s real estate investment; it is not known how many cars fit inside the storage area.

The mansion’s lobby features several arched walkways towards other rooms on the property and has impressive marble floors.

Many rooms in the house have an exposed lower floor, which means that future home owners will be able to choose their own floor.

Several parts of the mansion feature beautiful sets of columns that accentuate the potential beauty of the property.

The large windows allow plenty of natural light to enter the property during the day and also offer wide views of the woods surrounding the house.

The living room has a sizeable fireplace just below a space that would be perfect for setting up a television.

One of the mansion’s bathrooms has a beautiful glass wall next to a bathtub wrapped in beautiful white marble; there is also plenty of storage space for personal items in the sink area.

An upstairs bedroom features a private fireplace and balcony that offers great views of the woods around the property.

The mansion also has a sunroom with large French doors that allow access to the large backyard.

The back of the mansion appears to have been the site of an aborted repair attempt, since a large piece of land is surrounded by large sections of cracked tiles.

A swimming pool and fountain are also included in the list, although both need repairs before they are put in decent condition.

A wall of concrete blocks that divided part of the yard was also seen collapsed and completely taken up by a large pile of dirt and rubble.

Below the property is a large blue and red basketball court that also offers extensive views of the surrounding countryside; several seating areas have been installed.

Much of the track in the athletics area appears to have been damaged by its long exposure to the elements and the lack of maintenance.

A small gazebo-like structure was also installed halfway between the property and the basketball court.

In 2009, several video games and various electronic equipment were stolen from home by a thief; Nelly was not at the residence when the crime occurred.

The artist owns several other residences in and around the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area.
