National Board of Review Awards 2020: The complete list

Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods won some of the National Board of Review’s biggest awards today, as this year’s weird award season continues. Picking Best Picture, Best Director and Best Set, Lee’s newest film led the group with three awards, followed by Metal sound and Minari with two. Riz Ahmed (Metal sound) and Carey Mulligan (Promising young woman) won Best Actor and Actress, respectively, while Chadwick Boseman was posthumously honored with the NBR Icon Award. Other Netflix favorites Mank and Black Bottom by Ma Rainey didn’t work, proving to be a very sad day for the streaming service, in fact. See the full list of 2020 winners below.
