It can be any laptop, anytime … a constituent writes to a member of Congress, it’s confidential … and taking that is a violation not only of my position, but also of my connection to the my constituents. “
A Pennsylvania woman, Riley June Williams, 22, was arrested for allegedly taking the announcer’s laptop, which she planned to sell to Russian intelligence.
Pelosi said the laptop was used mainly for Zoom meetings, but she was not sure “what other information could be there”.

Williams is facing charges of intentionally entering or staying in any restricted building or land without legal authority and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, according to the Justice Department. It is not yet clear whether she will also be charged with theft.
