Nairoby ‘Nairo’ Quezada shares his reaction to the Super Smash Bros. trailer. Ultimate by Sephiroth

The story of Nairoby “Nairo” Quezada has evolved dramatically over the past year, from a Super Smash Bros. legend. exiled to that of someone with a hopefully brighter future, but that doesn’t mean he was always sitting lazily during his time away from the stream.

Former Smash Ultimate number four recorded an overreaction video for the surprise reveal of Sephiroth’s DLC in December 2020, and now he has finally been able to release it with a strong reception from the community.

Sephiroth’s announcement was made during the Game Awards last year, with Nairo watching the event alongside some friends on Discord.

He was immediately able to correctly guess that the fighter would be a representative of Square Enix with the inclusion of Dragon Quest Hero in the trailer, although he didn’t get it right until ‘One Winged Angel’ kicked that the hype would start to flow like a huge fan. Final fantasy.

The community’s response to the video made Nairo a trend on Twitter again, with many other players showing support for seeing the professional make content again, while others continued their effort to get their ban removed by Twitch.

Nairo faced charges of sexual misconduct in July 2020, prompting the 24-year-old to be banned from tournaments, community events and streaming.

He sought legal resources behind the scenes and this, combined with more information made public, caused the organizers of various events to lift their ban on competition.

The professional is planning to return to streaming this week on YouTube, as his Twitch account is still banned, which can also create problems for joining tournaments being played on the platform.
