MTV ‘forced me to give up’ The Challenge

Lolo Jones is not leaving MTV’s “The Challenge” silent.

The Olympic athlete gave a long speech against the reality show after she was seen withdrawing from the competition during Wednesday’s episode.

“MTV, the challenge forced me to give up, and that is a fact,” Jones wrote on Twitter on Thursday. “I have never stopped anything in my life. Hell, I’m one of the oldest Olympians, but I don’t give up, I was pulled aside before the show and said to make it look like I needed to leave. “

Jones, 38, left “The Challenge: Double Agents” after talking to the other contestants and saying goodbye. Jones, who has competed in the Olympics in athletics and bobsled, said he needed to leave to focus more on training.

And that extra training time was apparently well spent. Jones won the first bobsled competition of his career earlier this month at the IBSF Skeleton and Bobsleigh World Championships in Germany.

However, it is safe to say that loyal viewers of “The Challenge” did not like his departure from the program. And so, she revealed what reality shows are – Sigh! – not entirely real.

“There are so many secrets that are not known to viewers,” wrote Jones, who appeared in the past seasons of the long-running program. “I hope that people remember that the challenge is not a real competition, it is a TV show. They do not show the full picture, but what is fun. So, before writing hate messages, know that you are a judge and jury without complete evidence

“The good news is that if I hadn’t left, I wouldn’t have joined the US bobsled team. I would have lost the cut team for 2 days! If I hadn’t joined the team, I wouldn’t have been a World Champion. Then, in the end, God directs our ways. God knows how much I struggled to stay after meetings with producers ”

It is not clear why MTV would force Jones to leave and the network did not comment on the allegations.
