MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch predicts that Trump will be in prison in the 2024 elections and classifies Republicans as “lemmings”

MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch does not think that former President Donald Trump will be an option to represent the Republican Party in 2024 because he will be in prison.

“Donald Trump is going to prison, I really believe that,” Deutsch said on Friday, citing taxes, banking problems and insurance fraud as reasons why he could be arrested.

“Donald Trump will not be a candidate in 2024, Donald Trump will not be a viable alternative, but you have each of these Republicans who somehow believe that this is the Holy Grail and if they walk away from it, they will not get you reelected in a moment. a year, two years from now, three years from now “, said Deutsch. “And they’re not wrong, I mean, when you still see that 75 percent of Republicans think he should be the guy … they are lemmings right now.”

Deutsch then said that the state of the Republican Party is clear because the ongoing CPAC event is filled with speakers who continue to support Trump.

“It is the radical Republican Party now and it is a cowardly Republican Party,” said Deutsch. “They are now just paying homage to this false god, the false idol Donald Trump and just protecting their jobs. It is no more complicated than that.”

Deutsch has a complicated relationship with Trump. He appeared in the first three seasons of Trump’s reality show “The Apprentice” and called him “friend” in 2016, but since then he has become one of his most hyperbolic critics.

In 2017, in a segment that made his colleagues cringe, he challenged him to a fight “in the schoolyard” after Trump made disparaging comments about “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

Last year, the Deutsch franc compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and criticized any American Jew who planned to vote for him. Deutsch also apologized last year for using the term “yellow man” when criticizing “racist” Americans who trusted Trump’s information about the coronavirus.

Yet, Deutsch also hinted in 2019, he would vote for Trump over far-left Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., before being scolded by Scarborough.
