Movie Uncharted, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Cinderella and Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway Delayed

Sony Pictures announced that Uncharted, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Cinderella and Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway have all been postponed. Uncharted changed from July 16, 2021 to February 11, 2022, Ghostbusters: Afterlife changed from June 11, 2021 to 11 from November 2021, Cinderella changed from February 5, 2021 to July 16, 2021, and Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway changed from April 2, 2021 to June 11, 2021.Although COVID-19 has made an impact on film studios around the world, this is another obstacle to the project that had several delays and more than six directors. Fortunately, we finally got our first glimpse of Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and some footage from the film. The film Uncharted is being directed by Ruben Fleischer and also starring Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle and Antonio Banderas.Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a sequel to the original films and was originally scheduled to be released in 2020. The film is being directed and co-written by Jason Reitman and will see the return of the original stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Sigourney Weaver alongside the new stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd.

Cinderella is a bold and music-oriented version of the classic tale starring Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Nicholas Galitzine, Minnie Driver and Pierce Brosnan. The film is being directed by Kay Cannon.Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway continues the story of Peter and his family. In this film, directed by Will Gluck, Peter cannot get rid of his mischievous side and needs to find out what kind of rabbit he wants to be when his family “risks everything to come looking for him” after he ventures out of the garden.

These films join an ever-growing list of delayed films alongside the newest James Bond film – No Time To Die – and Edgar Wright’s last night in Soho.
