Motorola’s economical Moto G series has been incredibly popular for the company over the years, and in early 2021, we will see two new models on the way to the market – Moto G Pro and a new Moto G Stylus. Maybe yes.
@OnLeaks first posted a device that is now known as Moto G Pro earlier this week and has since featured a 360-degree video showing the device in full. In the photos and videos, we can see a device that offers relatively fine bezels around its screen, a hole punch for the selfie camera and an array of four cameras on the back of the device. These cameras include a 16 MP selfies trigger and 48 MP cameras, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP depth and 5 MP macro on the rear.
The hardware also integrates a fingerprint sensor into the Motorola logo on the back and holds a headset close to the pen silo.
Currently, this device is thought to be the Moto G Pro, a renamed and obviously slightly redesigned version of the Moto G Stylus 2021. This version of the device would apparently be sold on the EU market, while the Moto G Stylus 2021 would be sold on NOS.
Thanks to Nils Ahrensmeier, we also took a first look at the Moto G Stylus for 2021. The previous version of this device was one we liked last year, and it looks like the 2021 revision will be a decent update. Evan Blass recently posted specifications for the device, including a 6.81-inch 1080p screen, a Snapdragon 675 chip and at least 4 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the device will likely come with Android 10.
As mentioned, Moto G Pro will apparently share specifications very similar to this device.
At the moment, there is still a lot of confusion around these devices and how they compare. For now, let’s just see how things go. These devices are likely to be launched around April 2021.
