New year, new games, baybeee! This will be an interesting year, as we see the Playstation 4 and Xbox One disappear at sunset and, hopefully, the new generation will gain prominence. There isn’t an incredible amount of next generation (current generation?) Exclusives right now, but 2021 seems to fix that with some potential successes.
Just because I don’t have a PS5 yet doesn’t mean I can’t be exaggerated about the games I can or cannot play, since the availability of the console!
Halo: Infinity
I should start by saying that, while I’m anticipating this game, it’s more of a cautious kind of anticipation, “Boy, I really hope this game isn’t a drug.” I loved the areola series since I was a kid. It was the series I grew up with in many ways. what Mario and all these 16-bit hits destined for the generation before me, that’s how I feel Areola. He introduced me to first person shooting games, military science fiction and online games. They are all things I still love today.
So, you can imagine that I was feeling somehow when Halo 5: Guardians just upwards didn’t hit. It is the only areola game I haven’t played until the end. I know I wasn’t alone in thinking of it as Halo 5 essentially had zero staying power at launch.
I’m waiting Infinite straightens the ship and puts some respect back in the areola name. Given the game’s prolonged development, nothing surprising at the Xbox Series X event last summer, and the yearlong delay that resulted from that display, is looking a little doubtful whether the game will. You may be wondering that, considering all the problems and warnings, why is it on my list?

Well, I just love Areola, All you.
The possibility of a good areola game will always be something that I anticipate. Furthermore, given that this is the 20th anniversary of the franchise, I’m really hoping that the 343 Industries team will rescue and deliver a good space shooter.
GTA VI …just messing around, we know it will never come out. Do you know which game is likely to go?
Final Fantasy XVI
If you have read any of the gaming articles on The root, so this entry shouldn’t really be a surprise.
What can I say? I’m an anime trash, and this shit is mine. Not much was revealed about what kind of game Final Fantasy XVI actually it is, but if i were a betting man, i would say it seems to be the third Massively Multiplayer Online game in the franchise, after FF XI and FF XIV: A Realm Reborn (If someone goes into the comments talking about “Well, actually Final Fantasy XIV it was technically the second – “in everything that is sacred, I will slap your shit. We don’t recognize that game in this space.)
The trailer released during last summer’s PS5 event promised a large-scale epic, with an art style reminiscent of FF XIV: A Realm Reborn, and the game even sharing the same director. A quick look at official game website it also gives the impression that the game will be an MMO with multiple factions.
Although I liked what I played FF XIV: A Realm Reborn, there was so much content there that, the moment I was able to actually play, I felt I could never keep up. Whether it’s an MMO or a simpleAdvanced action RPG, I look forward to diving into the world of Valisthea later this year.
Deathloop
As soon as I saw the trailer for this game, I knew it was inside. Basically, he has everything I ask for in a game. Unique game mechanics? Checks. An art style that catches your eye and won’t let you go? Checks. A developer with a history of banging? Check, check and check. Ah, and has a black protagonist? Shietttt, bro, you don’t have to tell me twice.
Deathloop puts you as an assassin who discovers you are trapped on a mysterious island. You must kill eight targets over the course of a loop or the loop will restart. The game also has a multiplayer component that puts another player in control of an assassin who wants to protect the loop and is designed to kill you to prevent the player from breaking it.
The developer Arkane Studios killed him in recent years with Fanged and the Dishonored series, so I’m really curious to see where they go next with this title.
Although there are only three games, the list can go on. Honorable mentions go to Horizon: Forbidden West, No More Heroes III, and Shin Megami Tensei 5. Are you looking forward to seeing any games I may have missed? Drop them below! As long as they are not delayed, 2021 looks like there may be some bangers on hand—and I, for example, cannot wait.
