Mortal Kombat 11’s first-person view mod looks like a virtual reality fighting game and allows Scorpion to trap your opponents up close and in person

Flying while Fujin would probably make me sick

Fighting games have always been played from a side view of the characters to easily understand what is happening at all times during a game, which makes it quite interesting to see how the action looks from a different perspective.

A PC modder called Ermaccer recently launched a new set of tools for Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate that includes the ability to play the game completely in first person or behind the camera and certainly makes the game look like a different experience.

The only clip Ermaccer produced of the new mod in action only shows Scorpion running his iconic special spear chain being made for Noob Saibot, which is actually quite funny to see him react and fly towards the camera, along with a simple lanyard .

This may be because other, faster attacks like the Mileena roll would be a terrible nightmare for anyone with nausea or maybe the models just start to fit the camera at some point.

In addition to the additional camera options, the MK11Hook mod also comes with the ability to play as NPC characters like Cyrax and Sektor, in addition to the power to slow down or speed up the action.

Ermaccer is the same modder that has already made a similar first person mod for Mortal Kombat X last year.

You can check out the mod in action below for third and first person camera shots.
