More snow tonight – here’s what to expect

DETROIT – Wasn’t it a beautiful snow on Sunday?

It was a very light and fluffy snow that was easy to shovel or broom and great for sledding and skiing (and snowshoeing – I must mention that because my cousin Sandy went snowshoeing yesterday).

The next batch of snow coming in will be a greater weight of snow, so it will be more difficult to dig, butOn the positive side, it will be better to make snowmen!

But first, we will have a dry day on Monday, with few gusts of sun still possible this morning. But we will be cloudy during the afternoon. Low highs in the mid-30s (0 to 1 degree Celsius), with a north wind becoming northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s sunrise is at 7:53 am and today’s sunset is at 5:39 pm

Snow comes, but probably not before midnight or after – the roads must still be fine tonight if you have to leave. Drops above 20 degrees (-2 degrees Celsius).

We will continue to grind snow on Tuesday. With regard to accumulations, it appears that the most robust snow can now fall right in the center, the heart of our area – 2 to 4 inches are likely, with less to the south as you approach the state border.

Tuesday highs should again be between 30 and 30s (0 to 1 degrees Celsius).

The snow ends Tuesday night, with lows in the mid-1920s (-5 to -4 degrees Celsius).

Mostly cloudy on Wednesday, with highs close to 30 degrees (-1 degree Celsius).

The sky is partly cloudy late in the evening on Wednesday, and the clear sky will allow temperatures to drop to mid-eighteen degrees Celsius.

Partly cloudy on Thursday, with highs in the mid-1920s (-4 degrees Celsius).

Mostly clear on Thursday night, with lows at the teenagers’ house (-11 degrees Celsius), and we can even see some digits in our cooler rural areas.

Predominantly sunny on Friday, with highs in the mid-1920s (-4 degrees Celsius).

Rising clouds on Saturday, with highs in the 30s (0 degrees Celsius). At this point, it looks like the hours of the day must be dry, as long as our next weather system doesn’t accelerate. Snow is expected to develop on Saturday night, with the winter mix potentially developing overnight and continuing through the day on Sunday.
