The NBA Christmas Day slate turned out to be a failure. Five games, five explosions.
The best part of the day may have been Montrezl Harrell’s somersault.

Dallas’s Dorian Finney-Smith missed a three, and Harrell was placing an aggressive box on Willie Cauley-Stein when the Dallas center pulled Harrell down – and Harrell did a somersault at Simon Biles’ level. Then he moved on as if he were nothing.
Cauley-Stein was cautioned for a fall foul, but Harrell missed the next two free throws.
Not that it mattered, the Lakers blew up the doors of the Mavericks and crossed for victory.
