Monster Hunter Rise pre-order bonuses revealed

Best Buy unveiled a brand new pre-order bonus that will accompany Monster Hunter Rise on the Nintendo Switch. Fans who choose to steal the game from the retailer will receive a SteelBook box, as well as a Pre-Order Bonus Package with various in-game items. There are currently three options for purchasing the game, including the standard version, a Deluxe Edition and a Collector’s Edition. Although Collector’s Edition is not available for pre-order, all three options will be accompanied by the SteelBook and the Bonus Package as well! This extra bonus can only motivate some players to buy the game from the retailer!

The pre-order bonus package includes the following in-game items:

  • Golden Retriever Palamute costume (layered armor)
  • Palico forest cat costume (layered armor)
  • Beginning talisman to increase stats

True to its name, the Palamute Golden Retriever costume will make the partner in the player’s game look like that specific breed of dog! In addition to Best Buy’s pre-order bonus, Capcom revealed that players can get a number of free items in the game by playing the game demo, which is currently available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. This demo will come out of the digital showcase on February 1st, so players who haven’t released it yet will want to do it very quickly!

Monster Hunter Rise represents the next major entry into the beloved Capcom franchise. The publisher is giving the game a big boost before its launch, with the announcement of everything from amiibo figures, to a Nintendo Switch console with the Monster Hunter theme and Pro Controller based on the game. Unfortunately, the console and Pro Controller have not been announced for release in North America at this time. For now, fans in the region will just have to settle for the many related items that have been announced so far!

Monster Hunter Rise is scheduled to be released worldwide on March 26, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. You can check out all of our previous coverage of the game here. The Best Buy pre-order page for the three versions of the game can be found here.
