A woman rescued her four children from a burning building in Istanbul, throwing them out the window on Wednesday.
A video of the incident in the European Esenler district of the city showed the mother dropping her children from a third-floor window as black smoke rose from the fire behind her.
All the children and the mother are doing well, Turkish media reported.
The footage, captured by someone watching from the street below, shows each child falling from the third floor of a five-story building.

The mother can be seen holding her children out of the window, waiting for the people below to be ready to catch them, before dropping them.
They are shown falling, passing through the window of a bridal store, and narrowly avoiding the awning of a store below, while volunteers spread a blanket to catch them.
Passersby were heard shouting amid alarm sounds, with a few screams for the woman not to drop the children.
After being captured by the people below, the children were transported to ambulances and Turkish media reported that they were not injured.
The mother was hospitalized as a precaution and later discharged, according to the press.
The fire, which started on an electrical panel, was extinguished. Two other children and two elderly people were also rescued.

One of the neighbors who witnessed the rare rescue said, “First, black smoke started to come out,” according to the Daily Sabah, a Turkish newspaper.
‘Then the children started to scream from the windows. And we open the blankets. A woman threw the children from above. So, we took four children with blankets. ‘
The fire was later extinguished by firefighters, the newspaper reported.
