MLB The Show 21 Leak apparently confirms Xbox launch

Sony’s San Diego Studio promised that February would bring new information about MLB The Show 21, but it looks like a new leak defeated them. Assuming that this provocation is true, it also confirms very important information related to this year’s series.

Posted on Instagram by user Anerdydad, the cover art of MLB The Show 21 it seems to have been revealed. Although this was not normally a big deal in itself, what makes it remarkable is that one of the pieces of box art that was released confirms that the game will be coming to Xbox platforms in 2021. This was something we expected to happen this year , but San Diego Studio had not yet confirmed for themselves.

As for the cover itself, MLB The Show 21 presents Fernando Tatis Jr. of San Diego Padres. Tatis Jr. is one of the young stars in the Major League Baseball and had a great season in 2020. Seeing him appear in art for MLB The Show 21 this year is not a big shock, given his rapid rise to stardom last year.

What remains to be seen about the MLB The Show advancing title is whether or not it will reach other platforms as well. Previously, it was said that versions of the game for Nintendo Switch and PC would come in the future along with a release for the Xbox. Given the fact that this Xbox launch now seems to be finally happening, it is safe to assume that other platforms will also be launched along with it.

There is still a lot to learn about MLB The Show 21 but we should start hearing more soon. With February starting next week, there’s a decent show that San Diego Studio can start talking about this year’s title in a few days.

So, how do you feel about this development? You would potentially catch MLB The Show 21 if it finally hits non-PlayStation platforms this year? Let me know in the comments or on Twitter at @ MooreMan12.
