The Mitch Morse center will receive less money to comply with the bills in 2021.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Morse agreed to a pay cut. Morse will cut his salary by almost $ 2 million as part of the deal and can earn part of it back through incentives.
According to the original terms of his contract, Morse was set to earn $ 7.025 million in salary and a cap reached just over $ 10.34 million. The Bills reportedly received $ 5.5 million in dead money for cutting it.
Morse has spent the past two seasons with Buffalo and has started 30 regular season games over that time. He also started all four of the team’s playoff matches.
