Mitch McConnell’s Kentucky home vandalized with graffiti: ‘Where’s my money?’

The home of Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell in Louisville was vandalized overnight, with the graffiti indicating a possible political motivation, according to reports.

McConnell’s home in the Highlands, Kentucky, was discovered on Saturday morning with messages of anger, including “where’s my money”, “Mitch kills the poor” and profanity. Graffiti can be seen at photos posted online.

In a statement on Saturday morning, McConnell condemned the act by reiterating his support for First Amendment rights.

“I spent my career fighting for the First Amendment and defending peaceful protests,” said the statement. “I thank all the people of Kentucky who have engaged in the democratic process, whether they agree with me or not.”

“This is different,” he continued. “Vandalism and the politics of fear have no place in our society.”

“My wife and I were never intimidated by this toxic manual. We just hope that our neighbors in Louisville are not too bothered by this radical tantrum.”

LINDSEY GRAHAM BACKS TRUMP ON MCCONNELL IN $ 2,000 CHECKS

The messages appear to refer to McConnell’s refusal to vote on $ 2,000 stimulus checks after the House passed a measure earlier in the week.

The Senate ended on Friday without any movement in the bill, which means that the next Congress will have to visit the possibility of any additional aid related to the pandemic.
