Missoula health department to offer 200 COVID-19 vaccination consultations

MISSOULA – The Missoula County Health Department (MCCHD) will hold a public vaccination clinic on Thursday at former Lucky’s Market on Southgate Mall.

Approximately 200 markings for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be available, according to the MCCHD.

Consultations will open online at 4pm on Wednesday. The scheduling link will be available here.

MCCHD notes that appointments will be offered online only due to the low number of appointments being offered.

It is important to note that the appointments are non-transferable and individuals can only make an appointment per person.

In addition, Thursday’s clinic does not accept visits and appointments are mandatory.

Residents who are able to schedule an appointment will receive a confirmation email within one hour of booking.

Appointments are available only to county residents who fall under Level 1 of phase 1B of the Montana COVID-19 vaccination plan.

People aged 70 and over, American Indians aged 16 and over, and people of color aged 16 and over qualify in Phase 1B.

Phase 1A patients will also continue to be eligible.

The MCCHD reports that 11,714 first doses and 4,419 second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

To date, there have been a total of 7,902 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Missoula County, including 7,642 recoveries in 82 COVID-19 related deaths.
