The 37-year-old singer recently started a trip with her husband Brendan McLoughlin, and the coastal city was the second stop on her journey.

Before leaving Charleston, the composer posted several photos on her Instagram to celebrate her time in the city.

The automatic singer wore a beige wool-lined jacket over an unbuttoned purple floral shirt.

She was photographed carrying a red bag to store her belongings.

McLoughlin kept his fashion choices simple by wearing a long-sleeved gray Henley T-shirt and jeans.

Lambert wrote a long message in the photo caption to let his fans know how she felt about her brief stop in the city.

‘Dreamy Charleston, SC I miss you already.’ She added: ‘There is a lot to say about this place for a post, but here are some highlights.’

The kerosene singer noted that she could ‘spend days in this city just looking at the beautiful historic houses and churches and the art galleries’.

Lambert ended his message by writing that she ‘could go on and on about this city and 3 days this time was not enough. I can’t wait to go back. If you didn’t go to lowland, you better go down there! ‘
