Miranda Lambert kept his word and gave a moment of high style in the 2021 Grammy.

The 37-year-old country superstar arrived on the red carpet with the “elegant and sexy” look she promised earlier this week in a silver embroidered Genny dress with a thigh-high slit and deep neckline, which she combined with Sophia Webster platforms and Tyler Ellis bag.

“I have a dress and a very nice husband who has a very good suit, so we’re fine with it,” said Lambert, shouting at his husband two years ago, Brendan McLoughlin, who wore his own elegant double-breasted tuxedo with an open-necked shirt.

And it should come as no surprise that she was so simplified with her choice of style: “I’m not really a princess girl,” she said.

“[The set is] very feminine and beautiful “, she said ET of your next presentation. “Besides, there’s an energy with my band and me, because we haven’t played ‘Bluebird’, really, since it’s ‘Bluebird’. So, we are very happy to be there playing music. “

The two Grammy winner said that her song “came at a really crazy moment” and that, in terms of her message, “we would obviously never know what we were writing when we were writing it”.

“But when it became a single, it was in early 2020,” added Lambert. “So I think it was kind of a little beacon of a song of hope for people. It was for us, so I am very grateful that it was released when it was released, and for helping people with something ”.

Last year, she teamed up with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall to record 15 songs for the trio’s new album, The Marfa Tapes, which will be released on May 7th.

The tracks were written and recorded over a five-day period last fall in Marfa, Texas, the desolate city that Lambert, Ingram and Randall call “composing paradise”, where they recorded simplified outdoor verses with just a couple of microphones and a guitar as background noise from a crackling fire and sounds of the desert can be heard.

Other artists during the broadcast included Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, HAIM, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Maren Morris, Post Malone and Harry Styles, to name a few.

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, aired live on March 14 on CBS.
