Minnesota Wild’s Zach Parise played for Vegas Golden Knights – The Athletic rematch

LAS VEGAS – There was a great development of programming on Wednesday in the morning skate of the Minnesota Wild at T-Mobile Arena.

Zach Parise, on the ice during an extended shift when the Vegas Golden Knights tied the game Monday night with an extra striker, will not play in Wednesday night’s rematch. Parise will be a healthy scrape for the first time in her Wild career and only for the second time in her 16-year career in the NHL.

With the Golden Knights pushing for the equalizer two nights ago, the veteran left winger didn’t make a line change with Nico Sturm and Marcus Foligno in their final round. Parise would end up recording 1 minute, 33 seconds, in the turn and played a role in deflecting Max Pacioretty’s cross pass straight to Mark Stone.

Moments later, Stone prepared Alex Tuch for the draw in an eventual win in the overtime for Vegas.
