Minnesota Wild’s Zach Parise played for Vegas Golden Knights – The Athletic rematch

LAS VEGAS – There was a very bold lineup on Wednesday on the Minnesota Wild morning skateboard at T-Mobile Arena.

As a rebound for his extended turn when the Vegas Golden Knights tied the game Monday night with an extra striker, Zach Parise will not play in Wednesday night’s rematch. In addition to resting before the playoffs, Parise will be a healthy scrape for the first time in his Wild career and only for the second time in his 16-year career in the NHL.

While Parise skated with the taxi team following the rest of his teammates leaving the ice, coach Dean Evason declined to elaborate on why Parise was sitting just to say that the decision was made as a staff. But a disappointed Parise confirmed that he was informed during a meeting on Tuesday that it was because of his final shift.

“And I don’t agree with the decision,” said Parise.
