Milo Ventimiglia makes it clear which of Rory’s “Gilmore Girls” boyfriends he would choose

Where he leads, some “Gilmore Girls”Fans may not follow.

Jimmy Fallon saw something very interesting in the actor Milo Ventimigliathe background of during an interview with Zoom for “The Tonight Show” Monday at night.

After Fallon pointed this out, the 43-year-old “This Is Us” star quickly jumped up and grabbed the framed certificate of her Emmy nomination with a small handwritten sign hanging on it. The signal was a nod to her former role of “Gilmore Girls” as Jess Mariano – the bad boy ex of Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel).

“It says ‘I Love Dean 4 Ever'”, Ventimiglia announced proudly, referring to Dean Forester (Jared Padalecki). Dean was Rory’s first boyfriend, with whom she dumped not long after Jess thought of his heart.

“Is that rubbing in his face?” Fallon asked about the sign, its placement on an Emmy nomination certificate and its reference to Padalecki.

“No, no, absolutely not. Jared [Padalecki] and I’m a very good friend, and I made the sign for some photo that someone was looking for online or something ”, shared the actor. “I made the sign and, after doing so, just said, ‘Let me have this because it’s cool’ and literally stuck it right in my Emmy notification that was on the wall.

Ventimiglia did not hide that he is Team Dean. At the 2015 Gilmore Girls meeting panel at the ATX TV Festival, he said, “I was always Team Dean. Logan [Rory’s college boyfriend] he was an idiot. ”

And why should Ventimiglia not be a fan of Dean? The guy built a car for Rory, for God’s sake. The best thing Jess has ever done is getting Rory out of a routine by suggesting that she write a book about her relationship with her mother.

So, OK, let’s admit it: We Love Jess 4 Ever.
