Mila Kunis jokes that she loved it on her children’s two-day holiday

She spent the pandemic trapped with her husband Ashton Kutcher and their children Wyatt, six, and Dimitri, four.

Still, Mila Kunis admitted that as much as she loves her children, she was desperate for a two-day break with them while filming a Super Bowl commercial with her husband.

The 37-year-old actress joked about her brief escape from her two children during an appearance on this week’s Ellen Show, admitting she thinks of herself as a ‘horrible mother’.

Mila told how she and Ashton, 43, received an offer to star in Cheetos’ ‘funny’ ad, which aired during Sunday night’s Super Bowl.

Speaking of receiving the offer, Mila said: ‘It was at the height of the pandemic, of course it didn’t make sense. We were quarantined, as you know, and I was dying to leave the house. I was like I didn’t care, I need to leave the house.

‘I saw it as a two-day vacation, and it was like we were going out and running away from our kids.

Mila explained that she thought she had Covid after going to the shoot, but luckily she managed to avoid contradicting the virus.

She added: ‘But anyway, I spent two days away from my children, I am a horrible mother!’

The voice actress for Family Guy later joked: ‘I love my kids, but they are like dogs, they can smell you. They know what room you’re hiding in. You cannot run from them.

Ellen also questioned her about how ‘dry January’ felt at her home, and she said, ‘Dry January quickly turned into rainy February. It was a horrible idea, I don’t know if you remember if it was the 4th or the 6th when the insurrection happened.

‘We were like, that was a mistake. We made a mistake. So, on February 1st, I was like, oh sir, thank God. ‘

Mila appeared on the show to discuss her new film, Breaking News in Yuba Country, where she plays a new local reporter desperate for a story.

She also previously discussed replacing Ellen as a guest talk show host and how distressing it was for her.

Mila explained that it was reminiscent of her days filming That 70s Show, and Ellen discloses that she heard that there were a lot of bad words behind the scenes.

Her appearance comes when it was revealed that Netflix’s Regency era series, Bridgerton, arrived in her and Ashton’s room.

Ashton revealed that he thought he caught his wife ‘watching a porn movie’ in the middle of the night only to find that she was just catching up on a particularly sexy scene from Bridgerton.

The couple laughed at the understandable confusion during a virtual chat with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the Today Show, where they were promoting their new commercial.

‘So, I’m in episode five for those who saw it, you are aware of what happens in episode five,’ Kunis told Hoda and Jenna to put the story together.

Fans of 19th century dramatic comedy will remember that things really start to heat up in the bedroom between the Duke of Hastings and Daphne Bridgerton.

Mila continues: ‘I fall asleep at around 9:30 am, I’m out. No matter what is going on, I am sleeping. Last night, I clearly stayed up until midnight. I was like, ‘What’s going on at this show?’

‘He wakes up at the height of the fifth episode and this is a TMI, but he literally says,’ Are you watching a porn movie? ‘He was so confused. ‘

Ashton added, ‘She’s watching in the middle of the night, and I didn’t know what was going on. I was like, “Is anyone else in bed?” It was scary! ‘

‘I was like,’ Shhh, be quiet, this is a wedding! ” Mila joked.

Meanwhile, Hoda and Jenna were practically laughing when they heard the story and assured the Bad Moms actress that the best was yet to come in the eight-part series.

‘You are cheating on me with this show!’ Ashton protested when his wife shared his enthusiasm for continuing to watch.
