Mike Remmers played on the right tackle in Week 12, when the Chiefs played against the Buccaneers. He should start on the left attack in place of injured Eric Fisher in the Super Bowl.
That means Remmers will see more Jason Pierre-Paul this week.
Perhaps afterwards Pierre-Paul will know his name, something that Pierre-Paul admitted on Monday that he “didn’t even know who he was” when asked about Remmers.
Remmers shrugged when asked about it on Tuesday.
“Yes, someone sent it to me, and honestly, I don’t care much about his opinion of anything,” said Remmers. “It’s like every week I played in this league, I never got into a game thinking, ‘Hey, I wonder what this guy thinks of me.’ I don’t care at all. This makes no difference to me. I just go there to do my job ”.
Bucs arrived at Patrick Mahomes twice in Week 12, with Shaq Barrett and Pierre-Paul receiving a sack each.
