Mike Myers and Dana Carvey had a Wayne’s World meeting in an Uber Eats ad made for the Super Bowl LV.

Saturday Night Live alumni were back in character Wayne and Garth in a commercial that aired during the January 30 edition of NBC’s comedy show.

‘Hey, we’re back, 2020 man, it was a great year … NO!’ Myers, 56, said, to which Carvey, 65, remarked: ‘It sucks donkey.’

Myers said: ‘We just wanted to say that we will see each other soon for the game, which for legal reasons cannot be nominated.’

Carvey said: ‘See you in the big bowl’, to which Myers observed: ‘The giant bowl’.

At the end of the spot, the bell is heard and a bag with the Uber Eats logo is seen.

Myers and Carvey established the characters – rock fans with a publicly available cable program – on the NBC program and in the film, which hit theaters in February 1992 and grossed more than $ 121 million at the box office.

The film, which also starred Tia Carrere, Rob Lowe, Lara Flynn Boyle and Brian Doyle-Murray, also spawned the 1993 sequel, Wayne’s World 2.

Lead actors reportedly had friction for years about Carvey’s resentment towards Myers for turning his impression of SNL creator Lorne Michaels into Austin Powers’ character, Dr. Evil.

‘The pinky was invented,’ Carvey told Howard Stern in 2019 of his impression. – Lorne doesn’t do that, but somehow it fits. The pink thing I did.

Asked if he ever confronted Myers about using his material, Carvey said he ‘never really talked about it’ with his Wayne’s World back.

The Super Bowl LV, playing the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is scheduled to start in Tampa, Florida, on February 7 at 6:30 pm ET / 3:30 pm PT.
