Ex-running back from South Carolina Mike Davis is returning to his hometown, Atlanta, to play for Falcons. After two seasons in San Francisco, two in Seattle, split time in Chicago and Carolin in 2019, and the entire 2020 season in Carolina, Davis will wear a Falcons uniform for the next two years. He reportedly signed a multi-year contract worth up to $ 5.5 million.
Davis is coming out of the best season of his six-year career in the NFL. With the Panthers in 2020, he played 15 games (12 matches) and recorded more than 1,000 yards of scrimmage. He ran for 642 yards and six touchdowns on 165 loads and recorded 373 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 59 receptions. Running and taking totals, along with touchdowns, were all the highlights of a 5-foot-9, 221-pound running back career. He has been one of the toughest players to face in the NFL for the past two seasons.
